hi guy, I need help on Asus port forwarding. I have followed the instruction from YouTube or portforwarding.com but it show connection refused when I try to lookup the port I open from (canyouseeme)

P/S: I have called to Maxis for open my public IP

Attached with picture for my example setting

P/S: there is one function from ASUs router (picture with pink circle). I enable the port 8080 and it’s able to lookup from canyouseeme.

Anyone expert please help

Hi my best bet is you use DMZ. DMZ is very similar to Port forwarding, DMZ just forward every single ports. If you don't want fidgeting, apply your computer local iP on DMZ setting

So for the DMZ setting I need to put my public ip? Actually this setting is for Cctv

goto .. wan .. virtual server .. port range cctv port no .. local ip cctv ip number protocol tcp .. add .. apply
better to use manually assign ip for cctv

Hi thank you for your reply. I did actually and it’s able to access from IPADDRESS:PORT when I’m connected to my home WiFi BUT I’m unable to access outside of my house...

No once DMZ is applied to a device (in your case your cctv), every single available ports will be forwarded. Is a quick and dirty way to set up a single device.

Sorry i edited the previous post have a look on the port forward description
