the one who answered my call didnt even know about these DuitNow
she said can only opt out after 21st oct

when it's clear on maybank message that's before 21st  vmad.gif

You better have a chat Maybank CS on Twitter . Use private mode on browser , HP not IC and correct reference number to opt out

Please link it to your mobile wallet. Never directly to your bank account. You won't want to lose all your money in your bank account.

Mobile wallet to bank account acts as an additional layer of security. As long as you don't put your mobile wallet on auto-debit mode lol.

No choice .bank will link the account for you without asking permission . You don't want. DIY the opt procedure from my Maybank experience

Lol lame.

Why not different apps for different banks. Banks take lead to promote cashless? Big money to be earned.

Money in the mobile wallet, who will be earning the interest? Certainly not us. Will it be our bank or BNM?

This one is not wallet ..
Is middle man to help u link/translate your account number

Like DNS

So next time , instead of need remember and give other your account number.
You can give them mobile number.
Sender just key in mobile number when transfer , then will display your account

fark...now i have to call back maybank

how about our parents bank acc
those who never use internet banking
but have their phone number registered with the bank

some old people have minimal understanding about internet banking
and yet their personal info will be exposed

just because this stupid BNM forcing all banks to pre registered their customer with this #DuitNow

fark stupid decision by BNM doh.gif

It's bnm. They are the central bank. The regulator. The boss (for banks). What makes you think they need consent? Lol

Jokes aside, i believe bnm makes it compulsory for banks to have DuitNow, but it's up to respective banks how they want to go with it. So the opt in opt out thing are different each bank. I do think forcing customers to register the service is kinda over, and recommend you guys to make a complain to bnm.
