Been using S8 over a year and last night the S8 unable to detect both my SIM card suddenly.
Have try troubleshoot but nothing works.
Planned to go over to Samsung service Service centre tmr.
Was wondering usually how much does it cost n how long to repair it since the 1 year warranty is finish.

Thank you.

There's the old remedy or rubbing the surface of the surface of the SIM cards. Have you try putting the SIM cards in different phone? Just in case the SIM cards itself are the problem.

Getting a slightly thicker sim adapter might work too. Did it on my old LG G3.

I had 2 sim slots i think. 1 nano, 1 micro. My sim card was nano. I put into nano slot, cant detect. Put into micro slot with maxis adapter, cant detect. I tried a third party adapter that happened to be slightly thicker, put into micro slot, ok can detect.

unfortunately both sims for S8 is nano, there is no micro sim slot, adding tape/adhesive to the back of the nano sim has its risks, proceed with caution
