When you have maxed your job level, it will prompt the job-change quest automatically iinm

Craft it early or buy one. Do some research regarding your job for example if your gonna play PVE build, using dagger like sandstorm or holy dagger. You can start crafting T1 weapon earlier and refine it before upgrading it to T2 . Example : Fullblack dagger > Holy Dagger.

how many money you are willing to fork for the game, if not i highly recommend dont go for sinx as starters hahahha, if not u throw RM10k also not enough to get "strong" to keep up with the current phase.

grinding wise, you already lose to Hunter/Mage, and probably  will get "ping-pong" all the way.
-solution: pay for leeching service rm40-50/360min
-buy equipment with cash money: soul breaker Orc Lady/Cookie (not recommended as you still will get ping-pong by hunter and wizard)

equipment wise:
-one of the most expensive job to play that is merely impossible to grow without spending actual money
>+15 loki nail (700m)
>sharp blade 4 (around rm3-4k per equipment if you know the right channel to buy)
if you wanna enjoy the game, i recommend you to multi to Sniper/Wizard first for farming, Sniper is probably better because can share equipment with Sinx

True but you need to have gears, and less profitable compare to Sniper/Wizard because Merch need to use zeny to farm.

If you are going for holy dagger, look for its armor combo. I believe its thief clothes. You can check ROM EP Spreadsheets
