Looking for budget phone to replace the Samsung J1 2016 for teen daughter, budget with 400-500 only.

Comparing the Samsung J4 (RM559) and Xiaomi A6 (RM399), is it worth paying RM160 more for Samsung J4?

I will get Xiaomi Redmi S2 instead, SD625, 3GB RAM.

32gb + 3gb RAM should be minimal standard for next year as you can get 128gb just below RM 1300 THIS YEAR from well-known brands.

But Samsung Care/Service easier to get by if have any problem, but it is not often for a device to malfunction within 1 year (standard warranty period).

And Redmi 6A display is totally looks dull & cold compared to its higher siblings, trust me. J4 has AMOLED which 3x better than Redmi 6A.

Will consider the Redmi S2 or pickup the J4 (for the after sale service).
