our doctor hasnt do blood test for my wife , we are up to week 16

shouldt do the doctor do blood test to see what nutrient she lacks?

please advise thanks

When I went to KKIA at Week 9 I did a blood test for HIV, hepatitis and iron level etc. It's not for checking other nutrient if I am not mistaken.

Then at private, the doctor did the same blood test for me at Week 14.

The nurse told me more blood test might be called later if doctor suspect I lack anything. So far my last appt at Week 23, no more blood test yet. Just urine.

I remembered drawing blood during first trimester. Not too check on nutrient though, but to verify blood type and hemoglobin count. If Hb count too low, then doctor might prescribe something. In my case, my Hb count is OK so no problem.

In your case, it should be by now. Best to ask doctor if there is any reason behind it.
