what's wrong with Huawei?
Why don't try Samsung's A6/A7/A9 range? The new A9 has 3 cameras...Pocopoco F1 seems to have a good review too...

Mi A2 lite 64gb also can be option. SD625 is still good for reading and whatsapping. And it has sd card slot, too... Not to mention Android One (which Nokia also has, admittedly) will get you quicker updates.
Edit... Didn't see the note on xiaomi n huawei. In that case, nokia 7 plus. Or the old samsung a7, the previous version.

Forget, ASUS Zenfone 4 Max & Zenfone Max Plus M1 (not Max Pro M1) now below RM 500 with 1 year official warranty. Check on Lazada & check on Asus Official Shopee.

currently I'm using Asus M1 Pro 32gb.
at first I thought cheap phone performance sure slow a bit.
but to my surprise, after 3 months, it's still very fast and smooth. probably not as fast as flagship ... but definitely faster than a lot of mid range phone out there.
