I second this decision.. I love the Spen. but if I had the S9+, I wouldn't upgrade to the Note 9 as it's not that big a jump.. Particularly since you aren't a fan of the SPen.. At least hold out for the S10 instead.. I'm waiting for the Note 10/X. High chances are Samsung will make it an even more spectacular device. No pre-order for me then.. Learnt one lesson this round.

Well, fella did ask for best gripy.. Hard not to feel how bulky and gripy their top protection cases possess.. 

Yeah they are nice. Thing with UAG cases is, it's either a love it or hate it scenario.. Protection-wise? They are up there.. It boils down to looks. Some feel its very ugly.. Personally, i don't care cuz for mine... I'm buying a case for protection & grip.. Not to pretty it up. If I wanted prettying up, I'd go naked or used a skin instead    So, if you've take a good look at the Monarch and not put off by it's look.. I say go for it.. Furthermore it's compatible with Samsung Pay and Samsung Fast Wireless Charging too. So besides the extra bulk, there's almost no downside.

Using ringke onyx now, feels good for me. Not slippery, but might be slightly bulky if you have small hands.
Dropped the phone a couple of times already so far the case has done its job

Cut outs all good for me. Ringke is a reliable brand
