does viva stock steroes play mp3 burned on a CD?
also can it connect to an external ipod using AUX / LINE-IN port?

nope, on the unit there is a mp3 display but no unfortunately the stock unit cannot play mp3

and no, there no aux ...

I wonder if its possible to flip the auto window thingy? I want it to auto close not auto open

cannnn, just go to the accessories shop, just add about rm180 - rm280 to add retracable side mirror ....

Added on August 5, 2008, 7:23 pmhmmm, u go back to the P2 service branch, not service dealer yaaa, normally they will fixed the cable, but need to check coz there was a few batch manual, first version specially 850cc & 1000cc, are to be recall back due to this kinda problem ... mayb your car one of it ....

bukan yg side mirror la I mean yg window tu. Kan skrang driver's side window auto-buka (tekan skali dah buka). Tp i nak dia tekan skali dan tutup. Buka manually

haha!! i got one suggestion, anybody who using W09 colour, including me , plz go to any nearest hypermarket, go the car accessories section, buy a specified polish for SOLID WHITE colour. that kinda polish will keep ur car shining... another think, get a AMWAY Agent, buy their Car Wash Shampoo, it may be a little bit expensive (about RM22 i think) , use one cap only, mixed with one baldi of water , and wash it, after that , make sure u dry it at the sun ... then u can see, the car will shine like a new car ... even though its new

Added on August 5, 2008, 7:39 pmhaha sorry dear, ini hari kepala ada mengong sket , that one boleh buat, ada 2 cara, one, u can reverse back the cable auto buka, tukar kepada auto tutup, but that one u will face a problem, buka kena tekan, tutup tekan sekali aja, 2nd one go to the accessories shop, they will put one relay, for u to auto down & up winding ... haaaa berapa RM $$$$ , as the taukey ...mayb about rm20 -rm40 ...

how long was the longest waiting time to get the viva? my dad bought viva 850cc silver metallic in perodua kuching branch and im suppose to collect it in KK branch. the loan approved 100%, and the person from perodua said they are registering the car with kuching plate number... took so long - since last friday. anyone can forecast when i will get the car? i had to walk down the hill everyday to work and back. so tired of walking. ~when will my viva come...haiz...
p/s: if loan approved 100% means no downpayment right?

yes, 100% loan mean that u dont need to pay any downpayment. and YES, u have to be patient due to shipping/transfering the car from KK (kota kinabalu rite) to kuching. its also involve with customs & excise duty paid & shipping thinggy.... i'm pretty sure that soon u will receive it. maybe somewhere in this week ....good luck to you & we're wellcoming u as one of vivarian

hi deepy3k. thanks for your feedback. my dad told me that he will email the authorised letter to take the car from the perodua branch in KK. but the branch in kuching has not updated him with anything. heard many things about viva, good and bad. but mostly bad. dont know why most cars in KK (viva cars) their bodies are dent, first impression to me is the car wont tahan lama. but anyways, i just need a car right now so doesnt matter. i never drive viva before. guess u all have experiences. hope that this car will last longer than my friend kancil. my friend kancil 850cc bought 3 years ago, now in very bad condition. -.- almost hospitalized every month.

i guess i just need to wait til the "baby viva" comes here. i saw many new viva cars was shipped from KK port to somewhere (probably perodua). im waiting to get mine. dad said maybe this week can get already. hehe

yyun, good or bad, actually its depends. even u buy bmw or merc also, still its got their own kinda problem. frankly to say, i prefer p2 then p1, coz of the manufacturer QC (quality control). other things, it's also base on how u take care the car. i still maintaining wif my kancil 660cc manual first model 1995, still in good shape coz, i really2 take care of it. i had a choice between myvi & viva, deffinetly myvi is my first choice, but since i'm doing marketing, i need a car bigger then kancil/kelisa, with low petrol consume ... so i decided to go for viva. for your infomation, i'm working with P2 trust me, u bought a good small compact car...

Darn! My rubber skin came off liao. The one on top roof near the door. Shall i repair/glue back? Any harm if i didn't put it back?

Roof liner ..... hmmm can glue back or go to p2 service, they will help u to put it back, maybbbbb if u r lucky, under warranty can claim a new one, got clips below it woooo carefull, jgn patahkan that clips
