Added on December 28, 2007, 7:49 amsumore my engine bay have heating problem....let's say just start engine less than 15 minutes after den wanna open the bonnet oso cannot due to the heat from the engine bay...(very very hot)....btw..mine is auto..just get the car yesterday...

and when in P mode or N mode...the car will "gegar" a little bit...a new car suppose not like tat 1....when put D mode and pressong the brake...oso like tat...the engine like "stomach pain" 1...kilikoloo...

still new i think - all the parts still fresh, drive in a lil more and see how, how old is ur car?

is it? thats kinda bad, try check with service center, but the gegar is kinda normal, coz cars with 3 piston is like that, the engina mounting is 3 point only ...

Added on December 28, 2007, 9:36 amall 3 cylinder car car will vibrate more compare with those 4 and above. There is nothing much you can do unless u change the engine to 4 cylinder type.

Dear all Perodua VIVA owners. I have a friend which plans to install a subwoofer in his car, and I am supposed to do the installation for him. Therefore, I would like to find out if anyone has taken out the stock head unit before.

What I need to know is, does the factory head unit has RCA pre outs at the rear? Just 1 set will do. Please do let me know asap as I am supposed to install the subwoofer for him tomorrow, so if it doesnt have an RCA pre out, I guess I will need to go and get a Hi - Low converter. Thanks!

nope - tarak, but u wanna install subwoofer with an output from the ori HU?

all it has it the output for front and rear speakers ... i guess u could use the ones from the rear and use a hi low converter ... why dont change the unit ... i dont think so the ori unit can power up the woofer esp with the raer output at 25w ...

Well, since I need the RCA output, I guess it's understandable that I have an amp. Well actually not an amp, but it's an 8" active subwoofer that fits under the seat, so yeah. It comes with an amplifier built in! hehe...

I did ask my friend to change his HU, but u know la...new car. Sayang... etc. So, I can't help it, just have to make do with whatever options he leaves me. In this case, I guess I have no choice but to get a Hi-Lo converter for him then. Thanks for the info!

i know .its written big big dvvt 12 valve twin cam.. but somewhere in the internet some one post the Viva's 850 dvvt engine with cut through engine and SAW a TIMING BELT serving only One (1) cam gear only!!! now i cant find the picture..damn still looking for it...can one one post the Picture that prove that Viva's engine IS Twin Cam?

if it stated twin cam then i should be twin cam lo....tak kan perodua lie u gua....
