Hi guys, recently I had applied for housing loan, however my application get rejected. I have cross checked my ccris report, all are clean without any late payment due.

May I know, apart from ccris record, what else bank are taking into the credit assessment?

Thanks..

I see. May I know what is pre-existing commitments? Such as installments on the credit card? Or the monthly usage of the card?

What is the common DSR rate? Does every bank differ much?

Appreciated for your inputs.. Thanks..

depending on the banks, but mostly it is ur retail bank loans (mortgage, car, credit card, personal loan etc). on cards usually they consider the credit limit and typically in order to get new loan, ur DSR has to be below 70%. which means currently 90% of ur income is used to cover of ur loan then it will be hard to get approval.

other things looked at are ur repayments, though payment monthly but if after due date, that takes a toll on your application.
