 imovie output look diiff in pc

Hi, my friend made a video by imovie.. then he save the file n play in several pc n laptop.. the quality go sucks.. but good in his ibook.


why is this happen? how to save so that the video quality is same when play in pc

Graphic cards affect the quality sometimes.

maybe when he play the one in his laptop , it is running from the laptop's own backup file .
but when running on the other , it is urnning on the less good version .

Are you talking about compression/blockiness or brightness? If it's blockiness or jerkiness, make sure you have the same codecs installed ie. latest version of Quicktime etc. If it's a brightness issue, ensure that you have the same gamma level on the PC display as the iBook. I think the default is 1.8. Also, if the output was exported using the latest H264 codec, you'll need a pretty fast PC to play it back at any reasonable frame rate. Finally, are you sure the iBook isn't playing back the original DV file?

Google up the terms if you're not familiar with them.
