Hi guys, I need some recommendation for PC build around 3k. The build needs to have at least a 1060 as I mainly play at 1080p. Thx in advance.

Budget is low. How about these?

Core i3-8100/i5-8400 - 459/759
Gigabyte B360M-D3H - 369
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2400 X1 - 285
Pick a GTX 1060 6GB any brand - 1259
WD Blue or Seagate 1TB - 180
Super Flower Leadex Silver Eco 500W - 259
Tecware Nexus case - 185

RM2996/3296 total (C-Zone prices)

For AMD, switch to these

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - 649
Asus Prime B350M-A - 349

+1. Recommend to look for a used 1070. Some is pretty damn new at a very decent price.

Beware of mining cards of course smile.gif There is no way that people would want to take a loss on the deal, so there is usually a reason for the "cheap" prices. I know some of the ones selling are miners but I dont see the cards labeled as such in the selling thread. They just declare the card as "almost like new". Buyers are the ones who have to be smarter.

Go for AMD, it has at least till 2020 for same socket support. Add RM30 for 600W too.

problem is buyers can't tell if they are bluffing or not, unless they flash BIOS.

Indeed. How much money are you willing to pay, at the end of the day...
If you want peace of mind, make sure you buy from a reputable source and have warranty to cover eventualities.

The quality. PSU with Full Japanese Capacitors usually last longer.

Thx guys for the suggestions. I think I could spend another 1k more. With that new budget in mind, do you think this build is ok?

Ryzen 5 2600 + stock cooler
Asrock b450m pro4
klev bolt 8gb 3000mhz
1tb hdd
Any 1070 ti/1070
remaining money goes for any good case
seasonic focus plus 650w or evga 650w
