Anyone received their first bill under the new package price Rm139? I had signed up since the price was rm129 and got rm2 auto debit rebate every month. Since the new package price kicks in, i got upgraded to rm139 500mbps package with rm10 discount (still effectively paying rm129 subscription) but the auto debit rebate has been missing. Anyone experienced the same?

I'm using 500Mbps package with D-Link DIR-850L now. Planning to upgrade to TP-Link Archer C7. Will it improve my wifi speed & coverage if i upgrade? Other router recommendation beside Archer C7 with same price range? Thanks.

hi guys, Time old user here, recently received a email and sms from time saying upgraded from 100mpbs to 500mbps.  but until today, the speed test shows like never upgrade before around 90mbps only even using cable. wanted to call Time to ask also not easy to reach them.. sigh

my time fiber is nvr get to hit 400mb and above, if change a router will it help ?

Yes sir, still in contract, installed Feb 2018 with Mr. Y that doesn’t help much after sales.

But mine is weird one. my one is copper -> Huawei BTU --> copper --> Router. I saw fiber box but they are not using it. Strange

and after few days i test again, I can't even go to 500Mbps. my speed keep stuck at 120~150Mbps , wired and wireless 5ghz. need advise on what should I do

im using the free router from Time (DIR 850 - not sure correct name or not) the round shape one.

i agree using right item that may help boosting the speed.
but now im comparing apple to apple.  100mbps and 500mpbs.. base on the same set up.

yesterday night rush to Lowyat to but the TP link AC2300. lucky still got one stock left.  I run a speed test inside the TP link router it self and got about 800++ speed, and when i connect LAN use laptop and i got about 500++. By the way i'm on the 1gbp. i suspect is my laptop firewall and antivirus cause the speed decrease like 300++ Do u guys think so?

I would like to mention, that TIME has been unable to provide me with 1Gbps service.  They've upgraded me to 1Gbps, and are billing me for 1Gbps, but are still providing me with the old speed of 500Mbps.

I've had a ticket open with them for over 9 days.  The issue was confirmed by an on-premises independent Time Installer, and there's still no solution.

While I'm happy with TIME, please make sure you test your speed to make sure you're actually getting what you're paying for.

router is without antenna type, model is DIR-850L.

same things happen again this morning, i try to restart the modem first, but still same have WIFI but without internet.
then i restart the router (DIR-850L), every work fine after that.
(Both light are green before restart)

So the problem is the router? 

my ping is now constantly 12ms. Previously was 3ms.

nothing to worry about, right? should be negligible.

Reading thro the postings, I am tempted to get a better router, than the stock one provided by Time.
The question is , if I were to get a better one, I am worried about the setting up.
Easy? hard?
Plug and play? And how to set it up. 
I like to get one that can penetrate a couple of walls in my apartment.
Any suggestions?
