Contract Terms
The minimum subscription period (or contract period) for UniFi is 24 months from the date the service is activated or installed. If the service is terminated before the 24 month period is over, business customers have to pay a termination penalty of RM 500 which will be reflected in the final account bill.

No more since early this year after TM changed their early termination policy from RM500 1-time penalty to remaining months of your 24-months contract.

Now if you've just recently signed up for Unifi for a 24mths renewal of your contract, you need to pay 24 remaining months in total to terminate your line.
Just think of 24 X your current TM monthly bill as penalty.

RM500 where got enough to cover your penalty? Thus both TIME and Maxis has seized this offer to help customers make the switch over.

Give you the RM500 rebate over few months also won't be able to cover your months of early termination penalty right? Let's say you have 10 months left and you're subscribing to a RM150 plan.

Just want to update what happened. Today got the TPLink changed to a DIR-882. I was out of town so my friend went to TIME in Glenmarie to have routers exchanged. Kudos to TIME. Proves that there are real people behind the company who actually listens to their customer's problem. It took awhile but I wasn't really following up on this with much intensity. I bet if this was UniFi, nothing would have been done.

Hi. I am planning on getting the TP-Link EC230 through contract renewal. However, I cannot seem to find out the model of that particular router on TP-Link official website. Is there anyone in here who has that router? If so, can you share of the model of that router or a link to it? Much appreciated.

Does TIME have contract?

How is Time actually against Unifi? Been using Unifi for the past four years, 100mbs and now 300 mbs. Probably dropped only a handful of times over this period.

Same price for 500mbs for Time. Moving to a new condo in 2 weeks which has both time and unifi. Not too sure which to pick.

I work alot online and the reliability matters very very much. Mostly streaming 4k/web tasks

Hey guys. Just upgraded from my 500Mbps plan to 1Gbps. I have the default EC230 router.

What do you guys suggest:

1) I follow up with TIME to get a better router and go through having to wait for a technician

2) Buy my own router - and if so, which router would you recommend for 1Gbps? Small apartment.

3) Keep the EC230.

Can anyone access Time website at the moment ? I can't seem to load my selfcare.

I was just thinking of installing TIME at my rented house (Palace Court Condominium, Old Klang Road) but I now have several concerns, namely:
1. The recent posts about the service disruptions and slow speed;
2. If I were to move and the new place does not support TIME, will I be penalised; and
3. Would TIME be better compared to Unifi for streaming and playing online games (PS4) (this mostly goes back to my concern at no.1 above).

Thoughts on the above are very much welcomed, thanks in advance.
