I suggest you to change router.
I would like to recommend C2300.
Before buying, try to perform direct connection to ONU for speed test.

The speed is faster when you direct PPPoE connection to ONU?
If yes, then is the router problem. A lot of people using this router experience this problem.

You can get the C2300 from OOKAS to solve your slowness.

Quite surprise how a 5 years old model still beats router from today. ASUS is really legendary.

unless you going for CISCO, Ubiquiti, etc, the only non-commercial router that is next "upgrade" to AC68U is AC86U.

I thought the speedtest on the Time page is also an Ookla one.

It's actually from OOKLA. But TIME use own website to avoid congestion.
He doesn't know about TIME Speedtest which is in a different platform.

It is because of the time speedtest server is not served via HTTPS, that's why it doesn't show up on the suggested list on https://www.speedtest.net. But you can manually search for 'time' it will show on the result but disabled

Same goes to time own website, where if you go to the https instead of http of the site, the speedtest widget won't load.

Hi, yes was up by 6pm on the 24th. I can appreciate the downtime due to whatever issues, but the way customers are informed and CS handles it is really poor.

Now as of last night, it's just slow as hell. Lol.
