Can you try with other cable? Must be cat 5e or above, you can even use the cable bundle together on the router box to perform the testing

it will reset to 24 months new contract,. old contract cancel off

Am I the only one who cannot register Time right now? I'm stuck on Step 2 before setting the date page. sweat.gif Tried clicking Next many times but it will just refresh only.

Nope, router issue, been there done that..

I changed to aftermarket router with no tie to ISP firmware whatsoever, problem solved!

Hi. I just got my TIME Fibre installed today, and i noticed something similar to what you have mentioned here - the orange globe keep popping up, and when i logged in into the router setting, it shows "poor network". What is the issue? The router? What is the remedy?

Hi..2 symtoms observed, one -- orange light, Internet Disconnect; 2nd -- orange light, Internet still up.
The latter occurs Intermittent, the latest firmware reduces this but still does not 100% eliminates it.

Click on Advanced tab,set it under DNS, enable the Manual slider, click Add Server.

So, would like to try updating the router's firmware, but which version of router i am using? I'm using the C1200 provided by TIME.. and there are 3 firmware versions on the site - v1, v2 and v3. How do i find out? Is it stated on the router/box? Thanks.

You may check it on the box or in the web configuration page.

Normally the TIME C1200 is V1 with the old TP-Link Logo.

V2 and V3 is the new TP-Link Logo.

V1 --> Light green box
V2 and V3 --> Light blue box.

those of you here upgraded to 500mbps from 100, what download speed you get on wifi conencted devices? iirc before upgrade i can get up to 90mbps, now after upgrade only get around 50-60mbps. same device with same number of active connections at home
