TIME Selfcare has been laggy now when I used it. Wonder if their server can't cope with too many users or just too many people on their 1Gbps network now that make it laggy haha

Speed test is 350Mbps up/down.

Wifi on 5Ghz - 290Mbps the most (p20 pro). Any advise?

I'm using 500Mbps package with D-Link DIR-850L now. Planning to upgrade to TP-Link Archer C7. Will it improve my wifi speed & coverage if i upgrade? Other router recommendation beside Archer C7 with same price range? Thanks.

USB-C is just the type of connector that is used. Internally it is still using USB3.0 interface, not the newer USB3.1

Too many 1Gbps worldwide users? Or even python can't take the hit?

currently im using Archer c7

but my currently speed normally around 100 to 200 .. sometime reach around 300 to 400 .. on iphone 8 plus

is there something wrong on my configuration ? should i set the 5ghz wifi channel or just leave it automatic.?

Automatic is the best. Try standing beside the router and see if it is better.

hi guys, Time old user here, recently received a email and sms from time saying upgraded from 100mpbs to 500mbps. but until today, the speed test shows like never upgrade before around 90mbps only even using cable. wanted to call Time to ask also not easy to reach them.. sigh

Hi,

Precheck the followings first :
1) Router WAN & LAN port are both Gigabit (1000Mbps)
2) Use good quality Cat5e/Cat6 network cable
3) Use a computer that has Gigabit network port
4) Test it via TIME speedtest server (speed.time.com.my) with cable.

Btw, which router are you using ?
