please help,
1. my optical drive can't read cd. what actually is the problem & how to solve it?
i just bought it yesterday.

2. i have the same problem with my previous DVD rewriter LG GSA-H44N.
i sent my dvd rewriter to LG's service centre yesterday.
was it the optical drive or my pc?

go to the registry and follow the foll. path ::

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

and then delete teh "Run" and "Runnce"

restart teh pc .. it shud be workin ....

OR

go to the device manager and see to it if u hav any problems in the hardware config or ur optical device
