I am contemplating getting XS 256GB over at Osaka Apple Store.
After conversion is around RM4,772.00.
It sim card slot same as Singapore, nano and esim.

Compare to Singapore set, it is cheaper or more expensive?

I will test the camera sound click loudness, and if really loud, then will forego the purchase.

Warranty and 2 pin charger is no issue for me.

Japan Apple website price for 256 XS Max is 142,800 Yen exlclude tax.
Conversion to Ringgit is around RM5,208.00.

Looks like evenly match :-)

Since happen to be in the neighbourhood, looks like good bargain, yea even if the charger adaptor is 2 pin type.

If the loudness is at acceptable level, then guess is ok.

Well, it is very subjective as very much depend on buyer and seller.
Say my iPhone 8 Plus 32gb, newly purchased last 3 month ago.
Though it is a Malaysian set, I think I am gonna have a hard time selling at reasonable price LOL.

Update on the camera shutter sound.

Tested XS Max camera, Shutter sound is there.
But when you off the Live mode, shutter sound no longer there. Tested 5 times to confirmed.

For video, no tick tock when taking video.

Yesterday evening was queuing half way, then got cold feet.
Ya, here they queue up with a security staff to manage the queue.

Yes, noticed mostly tourist buying as they have to produce their passport.
Now me 2nd in the queue.

Surprising few China tourists buying here and not back in China ( with dual sim )

Price 124,800 Yen & tax free.

Yes, can turn off by Off Live mode. Tested. Video ok. No sound.

Yup, no dual sim. I m ok with it.
