Just sharing, I managed to sell my 2 units o X 256GB at Rm3900 each, Xs Max is my 11th iPhone, start selling my iPhone since iPhone 2G,this is one of the worst demand and longest time(1 week). For those who can't wait for local launch or have budget constraint, iPhone X is selling cheap at 11street and shopee where 256GB is <4K but i am fishy about those who ask to goto setting to unlock but the buyers are happy anyway.

Challenging this year, and will be worse next year for Xs Max as not many willing to fork out >4K to buy a used phone. I learn my lesson well I should be patient a bit to buy online emarket or scrapper next year, Sg Apple Store too pricy for resale next year even though i have worry free of warranty claim(one of my X OLED died within 2 hours when it starts flicking), it would cost Rm1565(outside even more pricy at Rm1600) to change.

Having it 1st day of launch is nice, but very high price to pay esp 2x.

Out of Curiosity though, when did you sell you X, 256GB? 3900 is still a pretty good price!

A week ago, base on the emarket pricing, yes 3900 is good pricing, it is not easy to sell at this price, I remember I get no response when I first place my price 4.2k, start got buyers at 3950 pricing at Mudah, lowyat forum as always no buyers.

My Xs max is having charge gate issue.. HK set with dual sim..

Not just that. I plug in my lightning earpods, nothing.. sound still coming from speaker. Test with my 8plus, surprisingly the earpods work.

Try to plug in the lightning cable to my mac to connect to iTunes, no luck too. But charge is fine, working well except for the charge gate issue.

I hope this is just another software bug that can be fixed in the next update. If not I'm having trouble bringing it to HK for warranty.

After my X OLED incident, I have to warn the buyer that it is not uncommon that you need warranty claim as could be sucks by Samsung OLED quality, so try avoid Sg telco set if u don't live in Sg, after all plenty of other sellers. HK set is slightly diff story, dual physical sim super tempting with Maxis/Digi/Celcom sucks many places, I still think there is hope Apple may support the warranty in Malaysia when it is officially launch, last year it was even thought it is qualcomm model vs our Intel. Have to continue ask Apple and keep the email if any of them claim HK set can claim locally.

Great news this year on Intel GPS, it is working like how Qualcomm does when navigation, 7+ and X on Intel modem were my 2 years nightmare.

Sign up the public beta and start using 12.1 beta, it should solve your problem. Public beta is fine to use compare to your current situation.

None at all if you dont plan to use your phone in Sg. Yes if you need to RMA and the original owner did not pay up on his monthly comittment.

Anyway, the beta only solve the charge gate issue. Not sure if it solve my other issue which is mac unable to recognize the phone after I plugged in the lighting cable + earpods is not responding. I just hope it's the software that disable the lightning port thus no data is flowing through the port hence no response..

Like you observed bro, it's quite hard to convince someone to part with 4k or close to it for a used phone, regardless of the phone's orginal value, especially now that the phone has been officially discontinued and received a massive price cut. My wife is currently still using my iPhone X 256GB which I bought at RM4,888 during Lazada's CNY sale. When it's time to sell it, I'm probably only looking at 3k-3.3k max (if I'm lucky).

I think it's far worse over at the Android camp... The Note 9 which launched at RM3,699 just two months ago is now going for RM2738... Can't imagine trying to sell a second hand Note 9 now...

nope.. im happy with xs... xs max too big for 1 hand operation... in fact quite difficult for 7plus sometimes.. i couldn't imagine xs max

Yeah, the X and the Xs seems to be the sweet spot for single-handed operation, just a pity about the smallish battery.

+1 I actually regretted getting the xs max.

But on the bright side, better battery life and better experience viewing the screen lel
