I am having endless issues with their bloody stupid fiber, and when I call them, takes forever to get someone on the phone, and then....the bloody idiot hangs up the phone.

I got problem dragging on maybe 1 month and they dragging their feet over this, and every time call them must wait looooong time, and sometimes nobody ever answer.
I think I called them almost 30 times already.... Manyak ceebye.... |

It got 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 no Maxis team for installation! Around 15:00, as we had already cancelled and postponed appointments wiating for the Maxis team to arrive but no one came and eventually around 15.00 we couldn't postpone some very important schedules for the day so we had to leave. We contacted support and they told us sometimes when the appointment is 9:30 they come 16:00 maybe so you gotta stay home all day. Weird story, why make an appointment if you don't stick to your promises! They neighbors told us they were working in the garden the whole day, no one came! The guards at the guard house told us: no one from maxis came by! So pretty weird story what you hear from support that they probably came later. Anyway, new appointment was made, 27 October. Although guards and neighbors said no one came bye, but since Maxis support said you gotta loose 1 day of your life to get fiber internet we cancelled any appointments for 27 October, made sure we stayed at home at day, not fulfilling any tasks for the day just to be 100% sure we're at home. 27 October in the morning someone from Maxis team contacted us saying he can't install today. Of course I got furious and told him contact your boss, I don't care about your schedules, but I am not in the mood for a 3rd time to loose 1 whole day of my life for a job which takes 15 minutes! So after bla bla bla bla he decided in the afternoon to come. When he came he told me, I can't install because you don't have a fiber modem-endpoint! I said huh what? You are the installation guy, it's your task to install it! Why else they call you installation service? He said, no no, I only do router! So I explained him my dear friend, that's not installation that's configuration and I don't need you for that! Configuration NO ONE on this planet touches ANY of my configurations, routers, servers or whatever. So that's when I figured out Maxis has no idea about the difference between installation and configuration. Anyway, this service guy told me the installation Maxis doesn't do at all, Maxis only does configuration. The installation is done by TM and I most contact TM. So again contacting support and telling them: I paid you 2500RM for the home contract in September. I paid already 2 months the bills, around 500RM a month and I have an advance( I always pay in advance being a good customer) 650RM on my account. So I paid them already over 4000RM, almost 1000 USD and after 2 months I still don't have fiber internet because no one knows the difference between configuration and installation and no one seems to be responsible. I also told support it's not my job to manage outsourcing and how Maxis does their job! The contract I have is with Maxis and not with TM. MAxis gets my money, Maxis already has 1000USD from me, Maxis promised they install. So if they gotta outsource it to some other company, that's none of my business, they simply gotta do that and make sure it works! Anyway, support told me they will get back to me. So I guess, by the end of November again a Maxis installation team will have a new appointment, and again they will call on the day of "installation" that they don't install anything but only wanna configure (=what I consider hack illegal) my router which is of no use since someone gotta bring the tools to connect the fiber cable to the endpoint. And btw, I connected these cables myself using these automated machines! It's a simple job even a 5y.o. can do it as it's fully automated anyway. And drilling 4 holes in the wall even my 3y.o. knows how to use my drilling equipment. Unfortunately I don't have the machine to connect the fiber cable myself. I worked with it from the company I worked for but it's too expensive to buy it myself for a 1 time installation. So I'm kinda stuck. 1000USD Maxis took from me. According to the contract which I can't break of course I must keep paying them 500RM every month. And I'm without fiber cable. This whole how Maxis manages things is INEFFICIENT! Being an Quality Management and mechanical engineer from Europe, how this company operates, in Europe they would have been bankrupt already. The cost that this company makes, I mean support people "installation team" etc. All these people earning their wage, cost Maxis money, and nothing is done except getting unhappy customers for a 15 minutes job! |

This is what I meant when I said their support sucks. I never said they were rude or anything like that (but once in a while, yes). The problem is, the entire Malaysian workforce generally speaking, never takes responsibility for their work. And then there is the profiteering mentality of ALL Malaysian companies, they refuse to get more staff....wait times for their call center is often 30-40 minutes just to speak to someone. Just terrible. You set an appointment, and the message is then passed on from person A to person B and then to person C, and by the time it reaches the last person, it is quite different already. They set the appointment times, but they never stick to it. They say they will call you back in 2 hours, but they actually mean in 2 days.... And if they have to coordinate with TM, then it is even worse now, because TM is another inefficient company. When 2 inefficient companies work together, you can imagine the result.
