Can Maxis Centres handle eSIM conversion now? Reading a lot of mixed stories here so far.

By right they should. Only thing you need to be firm if they ask you to change to postpaid in order to use ESIM.
The FAQ says that prepaid ESIM for existing users can be done at centre.

depends which area, JB official maxis branch out right telling customer esim not available for prepaid.
Base on the last experienced when port in, this isn't surprise, they're loosing customer here.

Oh JB, too far for me. I'm in KL.
Success stories I've heard so far is via Maxis Sunway, but I don't frequent there often and waste of resources if just go there purely for eSIM change.

if happen to pass by then it’s worth to convert, can’t believe we’re in 2025 and those big telco can’t make things right.
rip yoodo… we’ll reach there eventually 🙈

easy-peasy, email maxis HQ and request to do it at the same branch that rejected biggrin.gif
They will email that particular branch and assign a specialist to handle your case as per your convenience 🤣

my friend who is on hotlink postpaid now, submitted request at maxis centre yesterday to convert to hotlink prepaid.

the staff there said will take around 3 to 5 working days.

and asked the staff if need to change sim card, my friend is on hotlink postpaid (esim), the staff said no need to change. He can continue to use the same esim even after conversion.  tongue.gif

Future use? That QR can use multiple time?
*
yup, on same device only

Have not use the Maxis store green card. I wonder how secure it is if can be scan multiple time?
It is better they move the eSIM request through app just like other telcos.

agreed this is how esim should be, hotlink need to up their game in this competitive market 🙈
