So I recently got charged 98 cents by Maxis for dialing 15454 (TNB number for electricity fault report).

I've googled a bit regarding toll free numbers (starts with 1300 and 1800), seems that calling to numbers starts with 1800 is totally free no matter where you at in the country even with mobile or local line, but chargeable if calling from overseas. As for 1300, the rates charged are based on what respective telcos set. dry.gif

As for 5 digit numbers as my case above, how is that different from toll free? And how does the each telco define their "Unlimited Calls" usage terms and condition? hmm.gif

If you have similar experience please feel free to share thumbsup.gif
