So I recently got charged 98 cents by Maxis for dialing 15454 (TNB number for electricity fault report).

I've googled a bit regarding toll free numbers (starts with 1300 and 1800), seems that calling to numbers starts with 1800 is totally free no matter where you at in the country even with mobile or local line, but chargeable if calling from overseas. As for 1300, the rates charged are based on what respective telcos set.

As for 5 digit numbers as my case above, how is that different from toll free? And how does the each telco define their "Unlimited Calls" usage terms and condition?

so is 15454 categorized as 1MOCC numbers?

oh wait just googled abit, seems that 1MOCC is specifically 1 malaysia hotline

Usually for so call "unlimited call" is refer to local phone call and Telco to Telco.

or just call maxis hotline to get the clarification
