Depends on your budget mainly.
Some of my friends still working on OS9 machine crunching out Quark layouts.
I know one that using powerbook, one using iMac Core2Duo and another one using macmini G4. They all works.

Just makesure the machine you buy justify to the money you going to make.

If you usually do Adobe Illustrator stuff, any notebook will do.

Do you do 3D design?

That's better. The advantage for you is printing production on Macintosh. That means if you will get accurate colors when send for printing by designing using Macintosh.

The Apple pricing are standard, everywhere you go you will get the same prices unless special offer from the shop. Check the pinned topic in this forum, where you will get the pricing.

Get the white 2.0GHz MacBook. smile.gif

It all depends on how large the file u r working on...sometime if the files are too complicated, even the G5 will hang, as for mac book wont be any better tan G5. sweat.gif wink.gif

almost never. make a trip to mid valley and go to the apple store (machines) or the apple store in low yat.. they have the best prices and you can try all the models for yourself.

good luck
