so my bodoh friend smoke at bus station and kena saman

the people issued two copy and denda RM200 , no compound


first piece state the amount of summon need to be paid
second piece state that he have to go court

but the thing is, where should he pay this? i help him ask only cause i wanna know more about this too


ps : he smoke at bus station at kuantan i think

please help ya tq , already scolded him for being bodoh.. so now need help him settle this problem

one is court summon. it is written in the summon that this offence can be compounded. the other one for the RM200 denda is the compound.

Just go pejabat kesihatan daerah

so this means pay denda no need go court already right?

Just pay refer to pejabat kesihatan based on that stamp below.. if u pay within 1 month from the dated compaun issued u dont need to go to court. and if u dont settle this compaun within 1 month u will get letter from the court.

wow, first time i heard people got summon because of smoking, they should go to those shopping malls to summon smokers, 99% of them smoke beside the no smoking sign

what happens if you say you left your i.c at home, surely they have no power to search you

or better still just ran off very fast, will they give chase?

I think someone did that when they do ops at KLIA2... That guy kena handover to police if not mistaken.

No smoking sign mean nothing, it's the mall that put up the sign, enforcer don't follow your sign, like u put free smoking sign at every place and see enforcer care or not.

Almost everytime i heard people kena saman because of smoking, it's usually in Kuantan.

Anyway, you should call any pejabat kesihatan daerah, if you live in Selangor, can go to Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah in Selangor too.

Call them and ask to check if your name is in their system or not.
Because it takes some time from the moment u kena saman until your name appear in the system.
If the officer said that your name is in the system, then you ask the officer how to apply for pengurangan.
Some Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah, the director won't layan pengurangan for saman rokok.
But some Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah will give u pengurangan with no fuss at all.

BTW, u can't pay your saman if it's not in their system yet.
They will ask you to come again next time.

Personally, I've kena sama twice.
Both at R&R in Kuantan.
I start to loathe going there for work.

The first time, I checked with the office in Petaling Jaya via phone call, he said his director won't approve any pengurangan saman rokok.
So I asked where can get pengurangan, and he told me to go to Pejabat Kesihatan in Klang.
And I went to Klang and get discount, I think rm80 kot after discount.

And the second saman, also at R&R Kuantan.
I waited until now.
My name hasn't been put in the list.

my secondary school toilet is the common smoking room. So no, smoking in school wont kena saman.

Well they'll call the police most likely.

Not having your IC with you is an offense already. And they'll probably chase and follow you until the police arrive.

I hope the government increases the budget for Pejabat Kesihatan for all states so they could hire more enforcers to enforce the no smoking law.

last time i also happen same case, he say x nampak i wear seat belt but i've passenger can proof also i got wear,
*u know la nowadays car no wear keep sound 1*

i told him , i ady said i got wear, either u give saman or let me go, in the end he let me go xD
