QUOTE(kharizmisg @ Oct 1 2018, 01:58 PM) erm not so sure but as i know is nvidia don't allow OC setting as default but the manufacturer maybe can some sort of provide the software for OC their card? so far i tried my card gpu can boost until 2050mhz max, above that will keep fail. |

Just lower it by 50 MHZ then test for stability. Keep repeating this until it is fully stable for 24 hours or during gaming at least. After finding the optimal core clock, now do the same to your memory clock in the meantime you can increase your power limit to achieve a more stable overclocking. Doing this will ramp up the gpu temp faster. Good luck!so far i tried my card gpu can boost until 2050mhz max, above that will keep fail. |

Good luck! what software stress test best to use? im using unigine heaven benchmark max settings i guess it is ok? by the way i guess my gpu boost @2050mhz max already, add another 10mhz sure bounce out the stress test program, voltage all set to max... but im surprise the vram can add +1500mhz, original is 8000mhz then oc to 9500mhz still ok but at 9600mhz start to have some weird graphic particles color etc already in heaven benchmark...i assume 9500mhz my best push for vram.. You may use 3dmark software to test as well, they give you score too. If got game, try game for 1 hr see if there is any error. Good to go. QUOTE(djandrew @ Oct 1 2018, 01:55 PM) I have attached my OC settings below. Just in case if you want to compare. But I think you managed to get a better result than me. My Strix is the O8G version (so-called advanced binned). I think my max is 2035MHz and on certain games its 2050MHz. But this seems to be the max for this card.Sorry it took so long for someone to share their settings with you haha. Just recently became active on LYN again QUOTE(kharizmisg @ Oct 1 2018, 01:58 PM) All 1070ti's are clocked the same from the factory because NVIDIA restricted overclocking for all AIB partners. But..... they didn't say anything about the end user being able to "tweak" their card So what most of the board partners did was to include an overclocking profile with their card. Essentially the same thing but it isn't factory overclocked from the start. What separates the cards is the cooling performance. The fat cooler on the strix 1070ti is the same one on the 1080ti strix. Its even thiccccer than the 1080 strix |
