So I downloaded the game for PS4 this month while it was free and enjoyed it. I can see that I can buy warmind and curse of osiris season pass from playstation store but there is no forsaken expansion. So I am just wondering do I need to buy Destiny 2 Forsaken disc itself to be able to play?

you'll need both the curse of osiris & warmind expansion before you can buy the forsaken expansion

else you can just buy the forsaken legendary or complete edition to have access to all DLC

So this means that the forsaken of D2 which was free is just 1 part of the expansion right?
I've finished the red war campaign and now also done most of all the side mission and blue quests.just doing weekly activities and I can't seem to find a way to play the campaign for forsaken which lead to the Chayde storyline.
Am I missing something?

Base light level 268 for now.Will curse of osiris & warmind expansion get me further in leveling ?? New player to D2 here.

Forsaken is not free, it's the Y2 content that you'll have to pay for it

Thanks for the information, do you know the price for forsaken 2 pass because I can only see the price as unavailable in playstation store. Still contemplating to buy the pass or the complete edition.

Same here. It's unavailable.but complete edition really gets everything on D2

the price for Fosaken DLC will only shows if you have the other 2 DLCs, as it's the prerequisite for Forsaken

If you guys wanna play Forsaken story, it's best just to buy the complete edition, which includes all 3 DLCs + the base game

If say I have the legendary complete edition now.do I need to uninstall my current forsaken version and reinstall the whole DLCs or I can just load up the complete edition and it will auto add on the DLCs with my current Foresaken free via PS plus on Sept 2018?

your current PS Plus Destiny 2 is just vanilla D2, it's not Forsaken, Bungie just standardized all name & icon to the latest one
but Forsaken content it's in it, it's just locked until you pay for the DLC

You don't need to uninstall your current free version of PS+ D2, if you already bought the complete edition, unless you bought from different region

get DLC 1 & 2 (warmind & curse of osiris) and ur base lvl will go till 400. get Forsaken and can go to 500
