what do you mean ?
do you mean if i make is 30GB .
my HDD will become 2 partition , 90GB +30GB .
if i deleted the windows XP partition , the 30GB will remain as another partition , wont go back to the original 120GB ?
no..
Ermm.. Parallels is virtual pc. I think i said that like thousand times..

When you install winxp via parallels, you first create a "virtual" hdd or virtual space. And you cannot access the virtual hdd in mac osx, you can only access it thru parallels. You no need to partition whatsoever. On the other hand, you will lose/waste space cos' of the virtual hdd (extension is .hdd) created by parallels. Vhdd space is according to what you had install. Let say you now install winxp (1Gb) + microsoft office (2Gb). So the Vhdd space will be 3Gb+. In other words, your current partition will lose 3Gb+ cos' of Vhdd.
I hope you understand what i trying to tell you..

Btw, for bootcamp, you will need to partition your hdd. That's another different case.
