Oppo F9 or Vivo V11? They are around this price range and are quite decent phones.

Huawei Nova 3i would be the best choice IMO.

I am currently looking at Mi A2 lite. Is it any good? My budget around RM 700 only. Most important is does not lag when using basic apps

You can get Mi A2 for less than RM800, way better phone.

Oops... isn't A2 lite newer?

Edit: Check in lazada show A2 cost RM 1199. A2 lite is lower price

A2 and A2 Lite release the same time.

A2 has a better processor.

Mi A2 is newer hardware wise but the biggest differences is that the A2 have no MicroSD slot and it's battery is only rated at 3000 mAh, while the Mi A2 Lite have a MicroSD slot with a larger 4000 mAh battery but comes with a notched display while the A2 does not.
