Wow they are afraid, just look at how they defend in numbers everytime we start an attack. I think it was good half bar the goal. This midfield set up is for defensive mode.

Fabinho on, milner or hendo off. We need that balance attack n defense in midfield.

Again best defender playing onside.
*
From my glimpse sterling was offside, so best defender didn't hold the line? Damn
Yes, against city he got exposed a lot, vvd had to cover him many time.

When you look at what city sub in against ours, you realised there's a lot of gap there in quality.

Keep winning against lower team we'll be fine.

QUOTE(torres09 @ Jan 4 2019, 09:06 AM)
It's not that losing 2-1 is not OK. Is that City were not at their very best, efficient but not brilliant.
Could've got a draw and maintained the 7 points gap.
*
Attacking they are not their best, but midfield and defends they efficiently absorb our threat. Anyway they were more desparate to win, even their manager exploded coz they knew losing this can say gudbye to title hope.

Agreed it could have been different if we play with fabinho from the start and adopt more attacking approach. But I guess klopp doesn't have 100% confident with him yet.

1 moment really stand out for me which really showed difference between fab and hendo, when fab was pressured he still choose to pass forward to TAA. That showed his quick thinking and he only need a quick glimpse to know where to pass.

So many supporters expecting us to lose to Wolves just because MOreno and Mignolet are starting... I'd still think otherwise. We shud be able to beat Wolves, albeit a difficult one.
*
TBH, I would be extra nervous... oh well hopefully we can cope

We are not winning the second ball.
Fabinho didn't cope with cross well, surprised Brighton didn't exploits this. Fab need the occasionally swap with hendo, coz hes much better passing forward

Thats why keita did not start.

Wonder why many ppl ask henderson to be sub out and replaced with keita.
*
In term of probability making mistakes, I think both are equal.
Bringing ball fwd, keita is better.
Experience in epl: obviously hendo

QUOTE(stickmanchong17 @ Jan 19 2019, 11:38 PM)
Milner is too slow, which led to Palace's goal. Passing around won't work unless it creates a chance for goal. If we don't score by half-time, chances are, Palace will derail our title chance again.
*
I don't think it's totally milner fault. He was exposed by our midfield who was busy trying to disposess their defend. It's not right to commit more than two players to press and leave our midfield exposed.

QUOTE(sahathai @ Jan 19 2019, 11:43 PM)
Shaqiri for keita plz...
*
Yes, or wijnaldum. Keita has flair, but not effective with end product.

Shaqiri didn't have much impact. The rest are ok considering pitch condition. Mane the mom so far

Only one thing left to say, we played against ref and linesmen. There are so many evidences to suggest that...

Totally agree. To add on, Alisson provided a world-class save which rescued us from an embarassing loss.  We failed to capitalise on City's mistake, but let's hope things would only improve from here.
*
What more frustating the built up to that attempt on goal was offside, and again the linesman failed to see that...

He has all the right attributes to play as no.7, his long range shot technique is at different class

Hahaha, thst linesman need to go check his eyes...
*
Haha tried to even out his decision... I think linesmen couldn't keep up with pace of the game.

Anyway, West ham free kick is well drilled. Our player need to be alert and track movement

we could have LOST all 3 points

anyway 1 point saved is better than nothing

we shall bounce back with a win against ManU

must win game to calm the nerves

pray for speedy recovery of TAA & Hendo
*
With a drop in performance like this, it's not the best tme to meet them...
