Yea la, we can also come back from 3-0 down against one of the greatest team. But then what's the point of talking up Huddersfield like they are THE team to be feared in the league...

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 16 2018, 02:56 PM) why last 4? why not last 5? the soton game being wiped out cos hendo played and we won big? fine then take the standard "form in last 5 games" in all competitions: 5 goals counting the 3 against soton. hardly impressive when you consider the shit show at MU has managed 7 goals over the same number of games. or why not last 4 league games only? etc etc. Point is the attack that started impressively against west ham in august and has gradually become less potent with a couple of exceptions (the games against PSG & Soton in September). Now with injuries to Salah & Mane, we're that much closer to the prospect of hoping again for solanke to sneak a goal against an obdurate defence in extra time after coming on in the 85th minute. |

Against the joint 2nd worst def in the league, I fancy us to score at least 1 and can reasonably expect to shut out the worst offense in the league. Relax mate, worry when the ball is being kicked lar. |

For the first time I am hoping we can rest some of our front 3. So far only Mane had been consistent, but he cant last 90mins, he tend to slack off toward the end.
I am hoping to see Shaqiri start. |

Liverpool have one of the best squad in the Premier League. There is too much expectations on Klopp. They have spent a lot of money in his tenure. The fans are desparate for a trophy. Do you think that Liverpool will win the Premier League this season? Do they have enough firepower?

Klopp's pre-match press conference vs Huddersfield:
Naby Keita is ruled out of tomorrow’s trip to Huddersfield with the injury sustained on international duty with Guinea. QUOTE “We had yesterday’s session, where a few of the boys trained. We have to see how they reacted after that,” Klopp told reporters. “The only thing that’s pretty sure is that Naby will not be available. “With all of the rest we have to see how it develops. That’s it, pretty much.” On VVD QUOTE "Football players play very often with some kind of pain. He has no problems with that (his ribs) any more." Klopp really doesn’t like the Nations League - and says despite the idea being good, the competition should be utilised in another sport. QUOTE “It’s too much in that competition: ‘Proper games, real opponents, it is better than having any friendlies’,” he said. “That’s all good but you don’t want to see Joshua fighting every second night, it’s not possible. This week he fights in Leeds, next week he fights in Manchester and no-one asked for it. “Only in football everyone seems to be interested in now having only big competitions where you can get promoted or relegated. “Do we want to have opera every night or every two months? I like competition, of course, but at one point someone has to step back and think ‘OK, wait, wait, wait. They are players who play’. “If they don’t perform I am angry, so how can we make sure they perform? That’s all I wanted to say. “The Nations League itself is a good idea—do it in another sport because in football there is no space for it. “I realise already I could have told my coffee machine because no-one is really interested but it is still my opinion. “We only have highlights now, ‘highlight, highlight, highlight’. Where is the rest? When can we have normal things?” Adam Lallana is a real option for the Reds as he continues his comeback from injury. QUOTE “Hopefully nobody forgot how good he was before his little injury,” he added. “Now he’s extremely close to the team, but we have to make sure how we can bring him in. He will play first-team football for Liverpool again, that’s the best news. “When we will start, we will see. But he’s a proper option again, that’s good.” And, finally, Fabinho is closing in on a start for Liverpool - but Klopp reckons the only reason the Brazilian has missed out so far is because others fit better into his side. QUOTE "He's close. I didn't see him for 10 days. Not best thing to judge how he is. But he was never far away. He just needed to get used to different things. I've had this situation before - Gundogan didn't play for half a year." QUOTE “Everyone asks you constantly, why doesn’t he play? There’s one reason, no other. Another player fits better in the slot. “As long as there’s a player ahead who is fresh then it’s about the new player to close the gap. It always took time. “When you do close the gap, go and make us better. That’s the plan.” On Huddersfield is 100% trap QUOTE "Our analyst said they are much stronger than you can imagine. That's why I use the word 'trap'. They had more possession than Tottenham. There will be an outstanding atmosphere and we need to be ready." |
