i think the best way is to try it out yourself and see whether you're comfortable playing it.
whats your budget? different people have different biased likings towards certain brands, its personal preference mostly |

for below 1K i think SX would be a good choice...better quality than squire guitar IMHO. but if you have like 2K better get an epiphone les paul standard...i just love those LPs lol.

I really don't see the point of this thread..... I'm not going to close it YET..... unless I have a good statement from the TS.....
You're asking what is the BEST guitar brand.......... that's like asking what's the best car maker, BMW? Mercedes? Ferrari? Mazda? Nissan? Toyota? McLaren?....... Or maybe what's the best brand of handphone? Samsung? Motorola? Nokia? Dopod? Best based on what? Playability? Affordability? Value? How many guitar they sold in a year? Their Marketing campaign? Kitch value? And everyone here has their own opinion on the "best" guitar.... so you'll NEVER find an answer.......It's not like computers where it's 2 kinds of mainstream processors.... AMD or Intel... and even THAT has so much debate already....... HOWEVER.... you can find the BEST guitar based on YOUR needs. I'm a Zakk Wylde fanatic, so I hover towards Gibson/Epiphone..... however, I also use a Jackson and buying a Dean and possibly an Ibanez next year....... If you're on a budget looking for a guitar.... do a quick search and you'll see we recommend an SX/Microcube combo. We also have alot of recommendations based on other people's needs in the Cheap Guitars sticky thread...... Just scroll through a few pages and see if you can pick up anything. If you have a bigger budget and want to splurge, then make a thread about what YOUR needs are..... what music you listen to? what music you want to play? etc. etc. You're also opening the window for alot of flame wars here since we have DEDICATED fans of certain brands... like anything else in the world. So unless you can come up with a good reason with WHY we should leave this thread open.... I'm closing it by tomorrow. |

QUOTE(dennishew2004 @ Jun 2 2007, 05:52 PM) sorry sir, if u doesnt like here, u can just doesnt waste your time & typing Your comment here is actually a breach of the global rules as that post can be judged as as a flame bait. all these unnecessary comment or just get out from this thread. or i'll just make it simple if u r not concern then get out, we doesnt need your comment here I suggest you post an apology or remove that post. Anyway, regarding the topic, all I can say is that this brands produces more lemons than gems. However, you yourself must go out and test whatever type of guitar you are looking for and find out which one from which brand feels the most comfortable. Judging by your previous posts about tele's it definitely shows you're into it, and in my humble opinion, the best tele copy producer is SX, look for the Ash bodied tele with the maple neck, its puts out really nice tones acoustically. Plugged in, it might need a change of pots but that depends on how you like your sound. Hope this helps. |
