Fried chicken with hand I get it coz its easier to eat that way. But nasi and curry with hand?

Saw one guy washed hands, went to table and grabed the chair to sit....... Like do the restaurant even wipe chair? Imagine sweaty guy sat on that chair before..... Imagine it! Then proceed to eat with hands.
