Guys, tumpang thread a bit.
I'm having problems with receiving calls on Umobile.
My phone supports 4G LTE only.
When I switch to 3G/2G, then can receive calls.

Same thing happen to me. The U Mobile CS told me to "change phone" sweat.gif

I plan to move out to digi if they network support non VoLTE. Wait until I change new phone only then i will port back to U mobile

Same here - Postpaid GX50.

OTOH, my non-VoLTE 4G device can still receive SMS when set to 4G/WCDMA/GSM-Auto, eg for OTP or TAC. Note that SMS is 3G or 2G, ie not via 4G.
....... The non-VoLTE device cannot receive calls unless I set it to GSM/2G-only but is often accompanied by an irritating loud background noise. If set to WCDMA/3G-only, calls can also go through or come in but the other party cannot hear my audio.

These recent call problems for non-VoLTE 4G devices, why ah.?

this is the question I raised to U Mobile CS. They emphasize that their network are mostly upgraded to 5G and VoLTE is the requirement. so those phone without VoLTE will be having issue of outgoing and incoming call. So my scenario is similar like your data no issue, sms no issue. The only problem is hardly making call(redial many times) and 95% unable receive call
