Go back center, sign up postpaid

yes, buy a new UM sim pack in 7-11, MyNews, Cold Storage etc and get it registered in the shop

then go online to port in the number you want to transfer to the new sim

I too have just received the same U Loyalty Program rebate of RM10 for 12 months for my Postpaid GX50 plan. This is the 2nd time I got it since becoming a U Mobile subscriber in Jan 2019. For my location, U Mobile's GX50 suits my casual Internet Broadband and (free) voice-calling needs. .......
Now, I'm "contracted" for 12 months if I do not want to lose the monthly rebates = cannot jump ship if there will be better Postpaid offers.

In comparison, each TM Unifi Fiber-optic cable has a bandwidth capacity of 10Gbps (or 25Gbps if upgraded), eg to be shared by about 40 link-homes on the same row in a Taman. Each link home gets an average of 250Mbps even during peak network traffic hours, ie 10,000/40 = 250Mbps = little to no Fiber network congestion.

As has happened to U Mobile's old 4G network, because of more and more subcribers hopping onto U Mobile's newish 5G network, eg U Home 5G plans, 5G network congestion is likely now happening during peak traffic hours in urban areas, eg daily 8pm to 1am, weekends and public holidays.

On my 4G GX50 phone plan, I have also recently experienced slow speeds of <1Mbps during certain nights = I have to do certain video-streaming during day time, ie videos that require minimum 720p/2.5Mbps.
