Hi, want to ask. Can i subscribe umobile postpaid and use it in modem? i feel the p99 package is better than the broadband package.

LOL

There is a reason why there is a mobile plan and a broadband plan. I really have no complaints about how people wanna make their own assumption on how they should use it but just keep the usage fair and I think you should be good. Just dont complain when you got flagged and throttled.

Obviously many subscribers are playing the dirty game of trying to outsmart telcos and then cry about it in social media about how unlimited should be unlimited. They think telcos didnt do their homework. Of course these greedy telcos did and they do have the average numbers for the amount of data one can consume with their mobile phone which lead them to promote it as unlimited "FOR A PHONE USAGE". However when sharing them, then it becomes another story altogether.

Not sure what is concerning about this... NRIC numbers and telephone numbers are no secrets nowadays.

What is more concerning is Maxis possibly buying out UM... damn... thats why I dont agree with CelcomDigi merger... duopoly soon...

umobile at my home has always performed poorly. today i took a look at my router's stats and saw these:

RSSI:  -69dBm
RSRP:  -99dBm
RSRQ:  -12dB
SINR:  -2dB

is there anyone telco expert that can decode the numbers and tell me why umobile is so bad? i think RSRQ is looking particularly bad. due to congestion?

If this article is correct, then your RSRP of 99 showed you are on the edge of the cell tower coverage...
