Prior to this you could buy steam wallet codes but now it's not listed there any more. Has something changed?

I recently applied for the GX43 plan on June 3rd. Prior to this I was on the UMI20 plan. Despite using a 4G sim package it was running on 5G as per the logo on top. I then proceed to test the hotspot feature for work purposes and it actually was usable. Speedtest show it was running at 400Mbps for download and 72Mbps for upload. After an hour or so I switched back to wifi as I was satisfied with thecresults.
Today I tried testing the connection again and noticed it was showing 4G. I then proceeded with Speedtest, download was at 30Mbps but upload was at 2Mbps. On hotspot it was 25Mbps for download and 0Mbps for upload. It was atrocious. I could barely get work done with the low upload speed. Did anyone have the same issue? |

QUOTE(eason47 @ Jun 10 2024, 08:41 PM) I also experiencing problem of only having 4g in my house and office, which usually have 5g. Started last Friday 7 June. What package are you subscribed to? Prepaid GX43?When I'm stuck at 4g, my family member or colleague were having 5g using Digi. When I go other part of KV, it then only switched to 5g. My Area: Kajang I've complaint to them and got a case I'd, if still didn't get any news after 5 working days, will complaint to mcmc |

They've upgraded the prepaid plans:
https://www.lowyat.net/2024/325853/u-mobile...prepaid-speeds/ U50 is now at 24Mbps. Their U40 plan is much competitive against GX43. Personally for me, it won't make much of a difference. I noticed in Presint 6 area, I can get consistent download and upload during morning and evening. However late evening till midnight I noticed the speed will drop from 5G to 4G, causing slowness in uploads. Guess it very much depends on the number of users in the area. |

QUOTE(poooky @ Feb 13 2025, 07:12 PM) There is discount for GX43 for RM40. Is this rate permanent? or will it revert back to RM43 after a while. Will revert back to RM43.Also. Is it worth upgrade from GX30 to GX43? is the 6mbps to 12mbps speed even noticeable? I've used it when it was offered for RM30 for a month. Speed was throttled to about half during 4pm till 11pm. Day time is okay. This was in Putrajaya area. poooky liked this post

QUOTE(luqman98x @ Oct 16 2025, 05:52 PM) That's because your CN X100Pro doesn't support B28b/n28b, which U Mobile uses for ULTRA5G... so you won't be able to connect to ULTRA5G at all under NSA mode. Even if your U Mobile plan supports 5G SA, the experience might be significantly degraded when connected to ULTRA5G via SA mode. Oh boy, this is going to be painful when choosing which phones to buy in the future. Manufacturers rarely advertise the specific type of 5G they use.You will see the problem more and more as ULTRA5G coverage is expanding. Your iPhone 13 does support both B28a (which DNB uses)/and B28b, so that's why you get full bars 5G |
