Hi all sifu,

I am no Umobile old plan P70 for a long time (like >5 years), now thinking to re-contracted myself to P99 and pay RM1.00 for a new Galaxy A30.

But this way I recon that I may loose "something" in the process, namely :

1. right now I enjoy 5GB roam onz, P99 only gives 3GB. But I only use it like once in 2 years when I travel.

2. the P99 plan has 30GB limit on hotspot, my current P70 has 15GB, + video onz 7GB, + apps onz unlimited all without hotsopt limit. And my monthly usage (by kids) is about 30GB. Actually not enough but when they finished up the line I hotspot from my Maxis to save them

3. once I move to P99, after the 2 years contract there is no way for me to move back to P70 May probably be forced to re-contract to get other phone in future

What is your opinion ?

The u mobile ultra hotspot 5G is only applicable when we have 5G signal and do hotspot from our h/p ?

If my area has only 4G+, can I enjoy the hotspot of 1000GB or not ?

GX 38 or GX 43 still subject to the 12mbps speed limit right ? No point 5G what.

That's right. With U98 you can have the ultra hotspot activated thru the app.

I don't think so, although I am having a contract with U mobile due to my S23 purchase.

Yes, uMobile free international data roaming is reliable.

Early this month I went to Germany / Austria for a meeting, departed from Singapore, transit at Istanbul airport. On within 24 hours I "visited" 4 overseas countries, all got 4G and at times 5G access at f.o.c. Awesome package !!

For a week in Europe and I kept sharing my line to colleague via hotspot, only managed to used up 2GB roaming data, which is free

Are you able to flash to Malaysia XME firmware ? If yes you have a chance.

Need to be existing umobile postpaid customer.

In those time when you had 5G, how strong was the signal ? Looks like the 5G signal is too weak at your home. Your 5G modem can lock band ?

Anyone has any idea what is the data roaming rate for u mobile U98 postpaid for Norway ?

It's not ladies in the 63 free data roaming countries. Yet there's no place I could find how much u mobile is charging.

Anyone join the family 128 plan ? I would like to know how the billing will look like
