I have the same issues. Went to U Mobile shop in Pyramid and informed the service staff about the problem, straight away they ask me to replace the SIM card. After replacing SIM card touch wood didn't see this problem yet.

May I know with a new U Mobile simcard RM10 prepaid, how does the validity works? Is their validity extension only rm30 per 30 days?

2. Only 7 days after sim activation before the validity ends?

3. If I let the sim expired after 7 days does it have 30 days Bar and 30 days blocked before it becomes terminated like other telcos?

4. Lastly if I have no plans to activate any Internet Data Plans yet but may in the future, is it cost effective to keep this sim usable when I need it but currently just let it sit? Possible? If not, should I port out to other telcos before the 7 days validity end?

fuk up this umobile, suddenly my unbill amount up from rm82 to rm121. if call to customer service they can check? their shitty bill statement doesnt include details also.. fark.. if wan details need to pay extra?

Regardless, customer service should be able to explain the increase. Otherwise you can report to MCMC

my prepaid umobile just let topup RM5 to active , after that just let it inactive until 50+day before 60 terminator come .
because i just keep line for sms or received call (inactive cannot call out , but can in , unless terminator come)

dont have, but i found the issue. Cos they have bill me but already refresh the plan hence unbilled amount ada this month punya. Now the 86+10 for esim request is in the new bill then shud be ngam already.

I see. My was due to subline. Since they change new system, every month also have unbill amount. I remember i call up to CS before, they just ask me to ignore and refer to the total due only. doh.gif

Does 5g opens up only when a data plan is subscribed but not when using welcome free data? As it seems 4g only accessible while using the complementary data.

For data plan subscription, do we have to buy at least RM30 to enforce 30 days validity for a cycle of 30 days prepaid data plan? Or does the plan itself upon subscription will extend the validity forward by 30days?

no. internet plan dont extend the validity.
but internet data still working during grace period
outgoing call sms barred

eg balance RM20. reload RM5. subscribe U Prepaid 25
credit validity 5 days
internet validity 30 days

Only celcomdigi have 'Always Active feature' which streamlines both account validity and Internet validity upon Internet subscription

My U Borneo RM15 for 2000GB+10GB extend validity automatically upon refresh.

My HotlinkMU RM12 for 22GB also extend validity when I buy it.

hi , how about GT30 plan ? will it +validity 30 days ??
eg balance RM20. reload RM5. subscribe GT30
will it 5 day or follow the plan ? because is call plan , without validity no point to get

Hi, wanted to get some advice or comment regarding umobile. I've been using maxis for many years and recently saw umobile 128 family plan. I'm staying in puchong, work area mostly KL and Sunway area. Would like to know any issue with coverage and their service? Thanks in advance.

While waiting for others feedback, I suggest you buy 1 prepaid sim and test it out for a week or 2. That way you get the live experience and can decide.

so far i got no prob with UM. me too just switched from M 2months ago together with all my sub lines. found out their coverage now quite good indoor and outdoor.
call quality good as well. but mostly on whatsapp calls or imessage call. loud and clear.

mostly at seri kembangan, sunway, klia, east malaysia ie kuching, bintulu, sibu and KK

compared to few years back, i was shocked that UM improved a lot.

sometimes when 4G not sufficient, i will try to switch on 5G. so far i got no prob connecting myself with others.
