It's hard to say because it's always dependent on your location
Ask someone who is using it in your area or buy a prepaid sim to test

In an UMobile Store, they usually offer a generic RM10 SIM card pack with an array of numbers that they have (usually not nice numbers), then you can just buy that and or add up a Prepaid Add On Package right?

And they register the sim for you by taking a pic of your IC or any such things? Or maybe scan your thumbprint? (If taking a pic of IC, that may subject to misuse).

After purchase the SIM pack, is the data plan validity etc start running already or until you put the SIM card into the phone then only it starts counting? ie. any need to start using the SIM card asap?

Just curious. How good is U Mobile around Shah Alam and Cyberjaya? I had them back in 2019 and they had so many obvious dead zones.

Their indoor coverage was also lacking.

RM10 SIM card at 7-eleven.
Preloaded with RM6 and 1GB data and last for a few days only if I am not wrong.

Install U mobile App and register (no need to go to U outlets). Then top up and add-on.
