Honestly seems like a lot of telcos have taken advantage of 5g as new hot stuff to raise prices again

I think you can, as long you settle the outstanding bills before switching.

Downgrading plan nowadays is relatively easy, even their CS on Facebook can do it pretty quickly for you.

I think it is possible,but u might need to pay the advance fee for every plan changing?

hi
just got new umobile sim
if my sim validity untill 29 december but my data valid untill 18 January.... so from 30th december to 18th January i can still use data or i need to topup to use data...tq

Upgrading of plan can do it on Umobile app but downgrade of plan must walk in to Umobile centre. This is what the CS at Berjaya Times Square told me when I was there last week.

Is anyone using prepaid U40 plan for hotspot through a modem (like Huawei B618, tp-link etc etc)?

The U40 plan includes hotspot but it doesn't work on my Huawei B618 (not modded). I checked APN was set correctly.

Edit: 😄 found out that U mobile plans doesn’t support hotspot through non-smartphones.
