Why so curious??? πŸ˜‚
Umobile(tested B310as, Max 153Mbps) vs Digi vs Yoodo(Celcom)

If you interested, my youtube: https://youtu.be/OIsCyutLpNM
(Max tested in Kuala Perlis is 160Mbps, perhaps I'll test LTE-A in Langkawi to see can beyond 200Mbps or not πŸ˜‚)

LASTLY, why y'all so fancy with ultra speeds while GX30/38 just gave 6Mbps 🀣🀣🀣
I just tested Yoodo as they gave me free data, kredits and P30 last year 😝

which offers the best signal strength & Speed?Β  hmm.gif

Strangely, both Digi and Umobile also gave outperformed speeds.
Perhaps my kampong is overcrowded with Celcom/MVNO users instead of Digi/Umobile, can see visible real users from OpenSignals app.

And recently I've found out 3G+ also max out 21Mbps, can't go 43Mbps as B1 been refarmed into LTE after CNY.

Any time got posters on this UMobile thread post positive things about UMobile, there will be that someone, a non-UMobile subscriber, who will come out with his usual anti-UMoblie rhetoric that is based on his personal agenda of being a heavy investor of ASN shares - ASN has substantial shareholdings in Maxis, Digi, Celcom and TM Unifi Mobile but not in UMobile and YES.

See, he even goes to the extend of alluding that such "pro-UMobile" posters are dupe or secondary accounts.

Nvm, donwan care pun.
Since got few doubts with my area speeds from various Telcos, just show them la...
Luckily did it earlier.

Short answer, if you want unlimited speeds at best signals, Pls lah INVEST bangsawan modem.

I'm happy with 6Mbps and not heavy users, then normal modem can satisfy me.

Why curious?
Because u mentioned about near to BTS..
So I want to see which Telco actually give best service without any interference by building....

Because everytime mentioned about low signal or speed..
Same crap BS excuses pop up...
Building blocking.. neighbor use jammer.. wall blocking.. cheapo phone cannot support... Any others crap BS excuse fanboy can think of...

Don't needed to show the speed test also no issues..
Just want to know only.. general knowledge purposes...
*
Agreed with you, feel totally Bullshits with conspiracy theories, so show you all the evidence I got.

My house is almost 100ish Mbps from any major Telcos, nPerf scores showed that catching Unifi Fiber.

Don't feel sad bro πŸ˜‰

U very lucky...
Can use which Telco cheapest..and still get best speed..

Meanwhile we all needed to see which Telco can actually works.. forget about pricing...

Because if cheap, cannot use.. then waste only...
*
Yup bro, need do some homework and testing prepaid first before MNP.

Of course it's depends users habits, if whole neighbourhood also download kaw kaw then your lines sure jammed like shits.

Pakai OpenSignals app lah...

Like my kampong is Maxis > Umobile > Digi > Celcom, but since I'm using flagship high-end androids then speeds and signals is faster for sure.

Did anyone experienced fail to terminate umobile contract due to dealer problem? Just receive an email today stated that there are still monthly charges for my line even though i had request to terminate on last month 14th May with no outstanding payment and even advance payment for that month. Called to umobile and the CS told me that the line is yet to terminate as the dealer did not update which line to terminate... but there is only 1 line under my name. Will umobile call for confirmation for termination? Any opinion?
*
QUOTE(destiny017 @ Jun 15 2020, 10:43 PM)
Better you go service center for enquiry as i know all telco cs really bad
*
I just know that shouldn't go Authorised Dealer for termination, but Telco branch outlet indeed.

Between, did you asked for copies of termination form if you did signed? πŸ˜‚

Near the ferry terminal. Gx68, 40mbps is the best case scenario most of the time under 10mbps. Fon is Mi 9 4G+
*
OK lah speed tu, Yoodo juga lemah situ.

Umobile upgraded 4G kat Perlis sejak Sep 2018, kemudian buat speedtests seluruh Perlis purata 20-40Mbps je.
Umobile 4G Speedtest di Perlis

Agak susah dapat 70Mbps ke atas, cuba install app Network Cell Info Lite semak samada LTE Umobile atau LTE+ Umobile

Nak tau coverage boleh pasang app nPerf, On Active Mapping then bawa sekitar Kuala Perlis untuk kenal pasti BTS lokasi.

Signals lemah boleh beli B618 atau B715 modem, bertambah yagi kalau ada bajet.

Between, I tinggal kat tengah Pekan, Plaza Kuala situ.

Yup bro, Yoodo is 100% 4G coverage in Kuala Perlis, I drive along with nPerf.

Maybe you can check with Umobile after got free time.

Just receive call from the dealer, they said its their fault that wrote wrong phone number lol doh.gif .. and they will bear the bill charges.
Well will definitely went to service centre next time  dry.gif
*
Glad it solved, but my advice is walk-in another U center to check after a month or call Cs for double confirm there is no penalty, no outstanding amounts and account closure confirmation.

I think I can answer your question.

I was first batch user of 3G unlimited of Maxis Postpaid in 2013, but few months later Maxis U-turn into 32kbps throttled policy and Data split policy.

Then the rest Telcos following until recently πŸ˜‚
That's why I lompat back U.

Just went my aunt house testing new GX30, and 6Mbps is working good as my thoughts compared to early version 3mbps.

Streaming capped 1.5Mbps meanwhile can surfing smoothly.
But testing 1gb file download and surfing will feel alot heavy like surfing 128kbps speeds 😝

Conclusion:
GX30 or GX38 or HUP35 is sufficient for normal usages with light/mild downloading, but not for heavy downloader.

Alternatives, can install FDM to allocate sufficient bandwidth for surfing during downloading. Not sure for mobile phones because I just watching YouTube. πŸ˜‚

Best to do downloads of huge files (unattended) while not websurfing, eg when sleeping or going out for dinner/shopping.

LOL, I just testing max out 6mbps to check the surfing quality during hogging all the bandwidth.

Can surfing during downloading, just super slow if didn't traffic control...

Still OK for me la as I'm not hardcore users or abusers.

azhar75 has just reported at 10:28pm that UMobile throttled his prepaid "unlimited" data GX38 plan to 0.05Mbps or 50kbps at the monthly FUP limit of 83GB. Maybe his report is related to your network issue. .......

How come azhar75 was throttled at 83.6GB, and not at 80GB.?

Also, how come azhar75 who had recently MNP-out from postpaid GX68 to prepaid CUP35, is now running prepaid GX38.?

Cons battery kinda increase as the apps will running while use. i also use the apps (free to 5 user log in) on my laptop for US Netflix series. Just it doesn't work for my android phone, it turn black but with sound. Btw i prefer watch Netflix thru laptop

Then u better use other Telco for gaming...
Since u mentioned Digi & celcom no lag πŸ’ͺ
*
Can't blame him.
I was using U and found out their Latency was higher and routes also longer which caused unstable pings for those needed.
OpenSignals also showed that your nearby summary Latency, lower is better example Maxis 30ish MS but Umobile is 50ish MS.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 18 2020, 12:16 PM)
Typical kiasu fanboy issue...

And now u see..
Even if one uses few Telco services & compared.. also complaint.Β
Questions back to the person.. why u use so much Telco. Very weird. Giving some doubt... Like the person is working for rival Telco & here to bad-mouth U mobile...

It's users choice.. how many line to have & use...
*
LOL, prepaid is for testing purposes lah.
For example, a U stayed just within 1km from my house his 4G+ just 10ish Mbps but my house could be 20-40Mbps?

Without testing each Telcos, how we know the pros and cons and which good for our daily usages?

Some need kept calling, some just standby need high availability, some wanna abusing unlimited, some just wanna cheap, some wanna flexi as travels alot.

Tak happy, then MNP lah, it's our CONSUMER rights
