Last yr i did get upgrade from gx30 to gx50 with additional 10GB hotspot quatoa

Note that UMobile runs on 3G UMTS/HSPA+ Band 1(2100MHz) and 4G LTE Band 7(2600MHz), which are easily blocked by walls and buildings = your mobile device should face the open air for good cell signal reception. 3G/4G cell towers are usually located in urban areas and along main roads and highways for car navigation apps.
....... "Unlimited" data for UMobile is for both its 3G and 4G networks.

In comparison, TM Unifi Mobile has only 4G network, ie no 3G. For 3G, Unifi Mobile roams on Celcom's 3G = TM has to pay Celcom. Unifi Mobile can also roam on Celcom's 4G network = TM has to pay Celcom. So, unlimited data for Unifi Mobile is only for its own 4G network, not on Celcom's 3G or 4G.
....... Only Unifi Mobile limited data phone plans can roam on Celcom's 3G/4G network when not covered by its own 4G network. Afaik, TM Unifi Mobile 4G coverage is quite poor.

So, for some, it may be better to subscribe to UMobile's "unlimited" data phone plans like GX30/50.

Normal 3G download speed is 5Mbps and normal 4G speed is 30Mbps. Recently, Digi and Maxis have upgraded to 4G LTE-Advance = normal speed is 130Mbps.

Signal blocking by walls and buildings depends mainly on signal frequency, ie lower freq = less cell signal blocking.

So far, only TM Unifi Mobile has been allocated a lower frequency for 4G LTE, ie Band 5 = 850MHz by the government since TM is a GLC. The other mobile telcos have been allocated higher frequencies for 4G LTE, ie around 2000MHz or 2GHz.
So, don't jump on the 5G bandwagon too soon because most 5G deployment in urban areas uses the even higher mmWave frequency of 24GHz to 86GHz = cell signal is blocked once you enter a Starbucks or McD.
