QUOTE(JLA @ Jan 30 2020, 10:59 AM) edotco Group Chief Regional Officer said that the USD18k referred by the MCMC Chairman could be related to the permitting fee imposed by the state Government. So if a taman got 300 users is ok as they are not receiving data at same time, eg 64 users received watsapps at second 1, 64 at second 2 and so on.Wan Zainal Adileen, edotco Group Chief Regional Officer tower company Wan Zainal Adileen, edotco Group Chief Regional Officer Permitting fee, charged by the local council is only one of the costs involved to set up a base station/tower. There are also number of forms that needs to be submitted, between 20-30 forms, depending on states. Wan said that approvals are required from the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Bomba), Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), MCMC and others to set up the Telco Tower. All these exclude the cost of setting up the Telco tower structure itself, which is said to be more than RM100,000. https://www.malaysianwireless.com/2019/10/r...tower-malaysia/ BS dont make sense telco base station worth more than RM100,000 support 64 user only one taman have more than 64 user. one home with mom dad brader sister maid dual sim phone But, if all of them YouTube together, then congestion happen. Hence a telco need more spectrum to cater more concurrent users Celcom unable to rent altel 10mhz causing network congest like nobody Plus the unlimited 3mbps ... It will soon become umobile lol |

QUOTE(lurkingaround @ Feb 14 2020, 04:47 PM) . Based on some 4G sites i observed, one cell ad having 400 users.Afaik, a mid-band(= 600MHz to 6GHz) 5G cell tower can serve about up to 250 simultaneous users while an mmWave(24GHz to 86GHz) 5G small-cell base-station can serve about up to 1,000 simultaneous users. The latter is usually deployed by celcos in city areas while the former is usually deployed in other areas, eg suburbs, small towns and rural/kampung areas. Seems, MCMC will be appointing 1 common non-profit consortium to allocate 5G bandwidth and infrastructure to 8 different 5G celcos. So, 1 location may have 2 mid-band 5G cell-towers with 1 cell-tower allocated to 4 celcos transmitting at different 5G frequency Bands, as allocated by MCMC. . We have 3 sectors per site, 4 layers(900/18/21/26) per sector = 4800 users 5G need to cater more users with same coverage or more sites within an enodeB. Sommore we have whole users from all operator using the gNodeB, so a gNodeB need to cater 20k users at least , perhaps there has more layer than 4G enodeB. |

QUOTE(petpenyubobo @ Jul 8 2023, 01:29 PM) If after restarting phone still cannot, call up your bank customer service and tell them the SMS from their code is not going through your present provider. Also inform them you switched telco(MNC) with your existing number. QUOTE(budi1413 @ Jul 8 2023, 05:46 PM) Suddenly all can receive except bigpay...Btw the 5g speed looks ok ![]() adiyon84 liked this post

QUOTE(lurkingaround @ Feb 6 2024, 03:15 PM) https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=105768657 Seems not valid as roamers from all the world should able to use our 5G. Impossible they treat roamers like this.. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=108169417 . . Above fyi, ie you can try flashing the firmware, etc. Best to avoid self-importing 4G/5G phones or modems from China/HK/Taiwan or Japan or Korea or USA or Europe bc the OEMs and local celcos often pakat, eg to maximize profits, eg sell 5G phones/modems with postpaid plans. . Maybe the author phone model is blacklisted at malaysia instead of only whitelisted by mcmc and sirim can be used in malaysia bah. I do not know. |

QUOTE(NagaK @ Jul 17 2024, 03:41 PM) Who said u mobile has better 5G🤔 in Malaysia 5G is riding on single wholesale network fully owned by DNB. So all telco in Malaysia is riding on same 5G infrastructure. telco can set the threshold to let user stay at 4G more than 5G...For UM case, it is obviously want all user stay at 5G, hence the possibility to get 5G is way higher than other telco. 19 Degree South liked this post
