Hi,

I have a newborn about 3 mo now. Yesterday went for regular check up and we found out that our nb are underweight. From the nurse respond, it actually something to worry about. She said the next check up if my nb still underweight, need to seek doctor attention. I quite worry now and me + my wife plan to put some weight on my nb until at the recommended figure but i dunno what is the best way since she still 3 mo.

Before u ask, yes i already consult with the nurse but i need 2nd opinion. I havent consult with Doc yet coz the check up only involve the nurse. Here is my nb current diet plan:

- breastfeed 8-10 times per day. Mix of bottle and direct feed around 80ml per feed.
- no additional food intake (no formula milk)
- sometimes she didnt finish 1 bottle

Since this is my first baby, i dont have any experience to deal with this. I open myself to any opinion, advice and suggestions. Currently our only plan is to feed her mix of breastfeed and formula milk. If anyone can suggest to me any good formula milk at affordable price, that would be great

I dont have a kid, but if you really worry , just make a appointment with doctor. At least you know the exact answer, worrying doesnt help. Money can earn later, your baby health cant.
