I migrated my OS into SSD and set SSD as primary boot. The HDD is detected in the BIOS but when OS boots up, HDD drive is not found and not detected in the disk management.

Any sifu can help?

Update:
Issue is resolved. I did not attach another sata for my HDD. At first, I thought that sata cable is used to connect primary drive only. That is why I transferred the sata from my HDD to SSD. Also, the thing that showed up in my BIOS is not the HDD. sweat.gif

First time dealing with PC connectors and drive upgrade. Still noob.

Do you see the drive in Disk Management? A cause for your issue may be that the drive does not have a letter assigned. If this is the case: Right Click on the Drive > Change Drive Letter and Paths > Choose a letter.

If you've used a disk cloning software to do the transfer, you are not supposed to use the same disks in the same computer. They will both have the same disk id.

The original HDD will need to be repartitioned and formatted before it can be used in the same computer with the SSD.

Alternatively, you can try to change the disk id on the HDD.

I used a sata to usb converter making my SSD as an external drive during transfer.
