The deceased will be back in the house Saturday afternoon for people to pay last respects. May I know how long will it stay in the house before he/she is moved out for burial? When will be a good time to go and not miss the last moments?

ask the deceased family.... usually, the ceremony will be at church, the priest will talk, sing song (all will be about 2-3 hours), then proceed to burial. You can either continue the journey to cemetery or consider end jor At home, usually nothing do one, if u Christian, maybe u will join them for sing. If u not, u just chat with family members. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this last time how i go lah

chinese christian?
it will be quite similar to any chinese family
do christian prayers in the house, then walk around the neighbourhood for the procession
then to burial grounds (cemetary).
somehow i dont remember being in a church or maybe i missed that part. Long time ago.

can be at home, church or at those rented place where ppl congregate similar to Chinese tradition
usually starts with singing, few words from pastor, friends / family eulogy, then final good bye
sending to crematorium or cemetery could be same day, or following day
thats it, nothing extravagant about it, all done low profile... also lots of happiness instead of sorrow coz the deceased returns to his maker
