QUOTE(aliex87 @ Jul 16 2021, 10:02 AM) Hi everyone, my city is 2014 V spec. 2 days ago i noticed both radiator fan did not turn on at all, no matter how long i turn on engine or ac on or off. I checked the 30A fuse (fuse box near battery) still okay. Is there any other fuse/relay that i can check? Is there a chance its the temperature sensor that's the culprit? Thank you sifus! Off the engine use screw driver head knock on the motor and test again Otherwise just change the motor that's spoilt. With this your aircond will be cold when vehicle moves if idle not cold

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Jul 17 2021, 01:10 PM) You can also consider the various upgrade parts by sifu Gsan Yup maybe upgrade the audio system, larger wheels and better brake pads that's all. Other than that have upgraded led bulbs for the front and rear lights for better visibility awhile back. QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Jul 17 2021, 01:12 PM) Im not sure if its the same thing but if you notice the dashboard would have a temp indicator, that should be engine bay temp sensor. If urs is not displaying right, high chance its the sensor kong dy. Usually under the radiator there's another sensor that controls the fans. That could be faulty but rarely. Can self diy or try unplug plug the connectors of the fans if need spray with silicon while engine bay is cold of course. Its easily accessible plenty of room This post has been edited by GuyM: Jul 17 2021, 02:00 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 4 2022, 09:18 PM) My 2018 FL has this sound especially when it's cold - first driven out of my condo car park and the road outside condo. Tried asking the foreman to check during last servicing but could not reproduce the sound, perhaps because it's hot liao. Steering bush or drive shaft worn perhaps? Typical of those staying in condo

QUOTE(eikozai @ Mar 5 2022, 01:14 PM) Wanna ask this out of curiosity, what’s the reasons staying in condo can affect on this? Tight comers and pressure on drive shaft when going down while turning in floor to floor. I've cars as old as 14 yrs old with good drive shaft still. Maybe also I don't even completely lock the steering during u turns This post has been edited by GuyM: Mar 5 2022, 06:19 PM

QUOTE(bbhing98 @ Aug 7 2022, 12:29 PM) Any suggestion for a good headlight for GM6? Mine is a 2014 pre FL Honda city, looking for a brighter bulb for my headlamp as I drive at night frequently, in pitch dark environment Am using this on daughter's car for couple of years now for low beam. It's a cheap alternative and has been reliable without causing issues to the car. QUOTE(CrayCray @ Aug 9 2022, 12:18 AM) Yes low speed and cornering. Thank you for the info but can I check what’s ESG? The valve? I think he meant egr valve. If you decide to try cleaning it also consider cleaning maf sensor. Get your mechanic to do it. Reset the car by disconnecting the black terminal for 10 mins after that.

QUOTE(bbhing98 @ Aug 9 2022, 04:26 PM) Is the light beam brighter than original halogen? Does it cause glare to opposite lane drivers? I saw mixed reviews regarding the product, some says the bulb is not much brighter compared to original halogen bulb, and I'm worried it will cause glare due to the reflector housing of the GM6. Looking forward to your review The light cuts off of gm6 looks OK after adjusted height but it's definitely brighter than stock and my daughter definitely drives more confidently especially at night going back home due to bad street lighting along the way to the house on hill side. Mixed reviews expected as diff cars has diff reflector This post has been edited by GuyM: Aug 9 2022, 10:52 PM

Noticed one of the fan on the right side if you are looking at the pics below aren't working after 15 idle. As usual after washing the engine I'd like to test if everything working as intended... Also my fuse box is missing the fuse diagram and unable to find the correct diagram on Google. Thought of checking perhaps due to blown fuse as car relatively new What's the cost roughly at outside workshop since the car only register 45k km 2017 model? QUOTE(ycs @ Oct 10 2022, 04:03 PM) what you use to wash the engine? just cover the alternator and battery only? I only covered the ecu, spray degrease followed by pH neutral car wash shampoo before using a brush to agitate the dirt off. This post has been edited by GuyM: Oct 10 2022, 09:42 PM

QUOTE(eikozai @ Apr 29 2025, 02:34 PM) Finally the day is here, reached first 100,000KM in mileage today. No major issue so far, and hopefully can last a little longer for couple of years to come before changing to newer car. Maybe get your mechanic to clean the egr, maf and throttle body
