I asked for it free when I bought the car. SA told me the same. There is one test drive car with this sticker and he show me stain mark around the sticker. End up I ask for something else.
Eventhough I thought I don't touch the door panel still there are a lot of visible minor scratch mark after one year. Until I bought a compound. It is so easy to remove, just lightly rub some compound and the mark is gone.

Couldn't agree with you more even don't touch the door panel also get visible scratch sweat.gif
just polish and wax my car so will consider using the 3m protective film first. Thanks for the tip

1. Tyre brand

- you can consider all round best tyre i.e. Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2, Michelin XM2+, Yokohama Bluearth ES32 and Toyo NanoEnergy3.. This type of tyres very good in dry and wet condition.. price range for 16 size around RM 175 to RM 220 per pc..

2. Tyre size

For stock rim size 16, you may consider:-

185 55 16
195 50 16
195 55 16

For size 195 55 16, its pretty hard to find because not many shop tyre have this size.. As far as i know, for this size got Toyo Proxes TR1 (price around RM 230-250 per pc), Toyo Nanoenergy3 (RM 200-250 per pc) and Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 (RM 298 per pc)

In TH it comes with 3 cyl turbo, For M'sia market we may or may not get it. 3cyl type engines hasn't been successful here so far bcoz we are the very complaining lot.

Not necessarily. There are omissions in TH specs as AFAIK, we got the highest kit count outside of Japan. TH specs don't come with LED tailights (for all variants), they previously omitted rear AC vents too. And we have Hybrid variant which they don't. Also their engines are tuned for ethanol mixed fuel, so the 1.0L might be specific for TH market (both the City and Almera 1.0L engines are designed for TH market use).

OTOH they ady got Civic FL which we still don't.

The current City's engine 1.5L is already 15 years old. Hope they don't consider it in the new City for Malaysian market.

The current new price for the outgoing City is the exact price for the previous model. Guess the new coming City will carry the same price tag of 91k+.

Please see:
"Honda Malaysia has announced that it has increased prices of the Jazz, City and CR-V effective today, February 21. The hikes, which affect all petrol models, range between 5.3% to 9.25%.

Starting with the Jazz, the lineup now starts at RM75,300 for the 1.5 S (up 7.2%, or RM5,058), rising up to RM81,400 for the 1.5 E (up 6.66%, or RM5,084) and RM88,700 for the 1.5 V (up 6.06%, or RM5,067). The same variants for the City are priced at RM78,500 (up 6.32%, or RM4,664), RM84,600 (up 5.81%, or RM4,645) and RM91,600 (up 5.31%, or RM4,617) respectively."
So this applies for current City and other Honda cars, not for the incoming new model. That itself might get a price bump as it would be a newer generation.

There is a big discounting going on since yesterday to absorb the increased in prices of these cars. Basically it is back to the old selling prices.

So good? But I doubt its from Honda since they are the ones raising the prices. Most likely it coming from the dealers, but then again going back to old selling price basically meant there is virtually no discount for us end customers. And getting no discount for a car about to phase out, either HM will lose more sales or they get a lot more for each they make to cover the loss of potential sales.

Basically us end customers still lose.
